We visited this lovely old chateau on our way north to Perigueux. It has expansive topiary gardens, and is one of the few to be completely furnished inside. The Baroness who owned it only passed away in 1999, so it is in excellent ‘lived in’ condition.

wow this is amazing -what a photographer you are Diane!! got your postcard today so will be keeping a keen interest from now on. i would have loved to have seen this place but unfortunately we are not in that area. love deborah
