Pont du Gard

This ancient Roman spectacle is advertised as “free” to see, but when you get there, you can’t park anywhere except in the barriered carpark, which costs 15 euros ($30) to get out of, as we found out.  However, the Pont du Gard was well worth the visit (and the €15) it is still an incredible feat of engineering and you can’t help but look at it, shake your head, and simply wonder how the hell they built it.
